If you’re anything like us, sometimes lunch is the event we look most forward to during our days. Whether you eat alone at your desk or use the hour (or 10 minutes) to socialize with your office buddies, the much craved lunch hour is a daily highlight. But how do you have a healthy lunch?
Back when I worked for a corporate job, I was completely miserable. I worked in a windowless cube and sat for 9 hours straight. Looking forward to lunch was the one thing that got me through my day so I really lived it up. After all it was my reward right? A lunch of mac and cheese or pizza with a cupcake and TWO cookies (yes, not one but two) was not entirely uncommon for me during those dark days.
But you know what? Healthy lunch options doesn’t mean you suddenly can’t look forward to your workday break. Here are some of our favorite quick and healthy lunches that you can take to work that will keep you physically and mentally fit.
